Celebrity Illusion

The idea of “celebrity” , being a “celebrated one” is tantalising to many. It certainly sounds like a nice idea. Who wouldn’t prefer to be cheered on rather than completely ignored and forgotten?

And yet the stories of self-sabotaging celebrities with all kinds of impossible addictions abound. The love of the whole world is quite obviously not enough to curb a dangerous addiction or keep partnerships from turning sour.

More people today are beginning to truly see through the glamour and understand that the deceptive hype is just a whole lot of noise- false images computer doctored for maximum impact, slippery shadows that are designed to suck you in and steal your precious energy in the transaction.

Be careful how long you remain in the field of those Self-glorified ones. It’s all too easy to feel less-than the sparkly glamour being sold everywhere we look these days.

You don’t always have to be feeding off the celebrity illusion, the social media hype and fakebook profiles. You simply can unplug.

You’d think after all the reality TV shows we’d really know by now that it’s all just smoke and mirrors and the poseurs are just projecting and yet many women advancing on the timeline might still be allowing themselves to be negatively impacted by those images. The dancing scenes, the pop star screams...

Enjoy the power of deliberately switching off that hot EMF frying cell phone and feel your feet on the bare grass instead.

Listen to the birds chirping and take the time to feel how their song feels inside, where those notes hit, the exact frequency, just how different it is to the strident pop star’s insistent wailing me, me, me look at me!

Pierce through that supposedly impenetrable wall of the celebrity illusion.

Cast their images down in your mind and refuse to live in that kind of shadowland.
